Beschreibung:
6-Methoxy-1H-indole-3-carbaldehyde is a formylating agent that can be used for the synthesis of chiral spirooxindoles. It is an intermediate in the synthesis of 6-methoxyindole, which has been shown to have anti-cancer properties. 6-Methoxy-1H-indole-3-carbaldehyde has also been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth and proliferation, as well as being able to induce cell death. This compound has been shown to have anti proliferative effects in human cancer cells and may be used as a chemotherapeutic agent.
