Beschreibung:
2,4-Mesitylenedisulfonyl Dichloride is a benzyl derivative that inhibits the cellular enzyme ATP synthase. It has been shown to be active against a number of bacterial strains, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), as well as Chlamydia pneumoniae and Chlamydia trachomatis. 2,4-Mesitylenedisulfonyl Dichloride also has anti-inflammatory properties that may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
