Beschreibung

3'-Methoxy-3,7,4'-trihydroxyflavone is a natural compound that has been shown to have potent inducers of redox potentials. It also has antiangiogenic properties and can be used for the treatment of cancer. 3'-Methoxy-3,7,4'-trihydroxyflavone has been shown to inhibit the growth of malignant cells in vitro and in vivo by inducing apoptosis. 3'-Methoxy-3,7,4'-trihydroxyflavone also interacts with matrix proteins and monoclonal antibodies, which may be responsible for its protective effect on the liver cells. It is stable at physiological pH levels and does not react easily with biological tissue or other compounds. The acetate extracts from this herb are known to have antimicrobial activities against bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae.
