• Beschreibung: Methyl 4-aminocinnamate is an inhibitor of the integrase enzyme. It inhibits HIV-1 integrase and has been shown to be selective for this enzyme over other cellular enzymes. Methyl 4-aminocinnamate has been shown to inhibit cervical carcinoma, breast carcinoma, and esters as well as inhibiting the growth of human cancer cells in culture. The IC50 for methyl 4-aminocinnamate against cervical carcinoma was found to be in the micromolar range, which is considerably less than that of other anti-cancer agents.
