Beschreibung

5-Nitro-2-furoic acid is a molecule that has significant cytotoxicity against gram-positive species. It has been shown to have in vitro cytotoxic activity against the bacteria "Bacillus subtilis" and "Enterococcus faecalis". 5-Nitro-2-furoic acid also inhibits the growth of "Staphylococcus aureus", "Escherichia coli", and "Typhimurium" in vitro.
