Beschreibung

Norfloxacin hydrochloride is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that has in vitro antifungal activity against a number of bacterial strains. It inhibits the synthesis of fatty acids by binding to the enzyme enoyl-acyl carrier protein reductase, which is required for bacterial cell wall biosynthesis. Norfloxacin hydrochloride can be used as an analytical method for determining the presence of probiotic bacteria such as Lactobacillus acidophilus and other lactic acid bacteria in human serum. This antibiotic binds to the monoclonal antibody and inhibits bacterial growth by preventing cell wall synthesis. Norfloxacin hydrochloride also has antimicrobial resistance, which may be due to its ability to inhibit intermolecular hydrogen bonding between amino acids on proteins, as well as its ability to react with sodium carbonate and form an insoluble precipitate.
