2-Naphthalenebutyricacid is a carboxylic acid that crystallizes in the herringbone pattern. 2-Naphthalenebutyric acid is an analog of butanoic acid and belongs to the group of p2 aliphatic compounds. It reacts with hydrogen to produce a cross-coupling reaction.
