Beschreibung

Vardenafil hydrochloride is an inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which is an enzyme that breaks down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the penis. It acts by inhibiting the activity of PDE5, which leads to increased levels of cGMP and better blood flow to the penis. Vardenafil hydrochloride has been shown to be as effective as sildenafil in treating erectile dysfunction and also has a longer duration of action. Vardenafil hydrochloride has a matrix effect on the chemiluminescence method for measuring PDE5 inhibition, leading to a more accurate and reproducible measurement.
