Beschreibung

2-[2-Oxo-2-[3-[3-(Piperidin-1-Ylmethyl)Phenoxy]Propylamino]Ethyl]Sulfanylethyl 2-(3-Fluoro-4-Phenylphenyl)Propanoate (SLXP) is a carrageenan antagonist that has been shown to inhibit the activity of histamine H2 receptors. SLXP has been shown to have a stereoselective effect on the pharmacokinetics of other drugs, as well as enzyme activities such as chymotrypsin, leucine aminopeptidase, and trypsin. SLXP also binds to albumin in the plasma, which may lead to an increase in its absorption rate constant. The hematological effects of SLXP are not yet known.
