5-Oxo-1-(4-sulfophenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid is a compound that has been shown to have anticancer activity. This drug has been shown to inhibit the growth of various cancer cell lines in vitro and in vivo. In addition, it has been shown to increase the number of microvessel density in mice with inflammatory diseases and reduce the level of inflammatory markers. 5-Oxo-1-(4-sulfophenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole 3 carboxylic acid is also an inhibitor of angiogenesis and vascular permeability, which may be due to its interaction with lipoprotein receptors on endothelial cells.
