Beschreibung:
Oestradiol 17-heptanoate is a hormone that is used in the treatment of bowel disease, including inflammatory bowel disease. It is also used to treat women with hypogonadism, who have an insufficient production of oestrogen. Oestradiol 17-heptanoate has been shown to be effective in the treatment of hiv infection and may be useful in combination with other drugs to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer. This drug binds to oestrogen receptors in target tissues and has been found to have an anti-inflammatory effect. Oestradiol 17-heptanoate also inhibits the activity of enzymes such as lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase that are involved in inflammatory reactions.
