Beschreibung:L-Ornithine Dihydrochloride is an amino acid which acts as a precursor in the synthesis of polyamines. It is also a growth factor that affects cell proliferation and apoptosis. L-Ornithine Dihydrochloride is used to treat eye disorders, chronic bronchitis, and autoimmune diseases. This drug has been shown to have diagnostic properties for cancer cells as well as antitumor effects on endothelial cells in culture. L-Ornithine Dihydrochloride has also been shown to inhibit the uptake of radioactive iodine by thyroid tissue and increase cellular proliferation in vitro.
