Beschreibung

Gamma-Phenyl-gamma-butyrolactone is a synthetic, liquid compound with the chemical formula of C5H7NO2. It is an amide that can be prepared by the reaction of triflic acid and an amine such as ethylamine or diethylamine. Gamma-Phenyl-gamma-butyrolactone has been shown to have immunosuppressive effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit human liver lipase and pancreatic lipase activity. This agent also has antiviral properties and is used in the production of styrene.
