Beschreibung

H-Phe-Arg-OH trifluoroacetate salt is an antimicrobial agent that belongs to the group of efflux pump inhibitors. It has a hydroxyl group at the para position, which makes it an acidic compound. H-Phe-Arg-OH trifluoroacetate salt inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to the cation channel and inhibiting its function. It also possesses antioxidative properties and can be used as a preservative for food products. H-Phe-Arg-OH trifluoroacetate salt has been shown to have antibacterial activity against multidrug resistant bacteria such as MRSA, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Acinetobacter baumannii.
