The most prominent resonance appears at δ 9.5 ppm. The cyclization of Z-Pro-Leu-Gly-OEt is catalysed by ammonium sulfate, which also produces a reaction yield of 100%. The effect of pH on the rate constant for the reaction has been studied and it was found that there was no significant difference in reactivity when the pH was varied between 7 and 11.
