Beschreibung

3-Pyrrolidin-1-ylpropanenitrile (3PPN) is a versatile building block that has been shown to be activated by light and used as an additive in polymer solar cells. 3PPN has been shown to form high yields of coordination complexes with both amines and alcohols, which leads to its use as a catalyst in the synthesis of numerous organic compounds. The diffraction patterns obtained from 3PPN crystals have also been used in validation studies for x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. 3PPN is a solid at room temperature but melts at a higher temperature, making it reusable for many applications.
