Beschreibung:
2-Piperidin-1-ylacetohydrazide is an oxysterol derivatisation reagent that can be used to oxidise cholesterol to form 2,3-epoxycholesterol. This reagent can also be used to derivatise steroids and bile acids at the C2 position with a stable isotope label. It is a stable isotope labelled reagent that reacts with cholesterol, steroids and bile acids in biological samples. The chromophore of this compound is ethyl acetoacetate.
