Produktinformation
- 1H-pyrrole-2-acetic acid
- 1H-pyrrol-2-ylacetic acid
1H-Pyrrol-2-ylacetic acid is an active substance that belongs to the class of organic acids. It is a metabolite of benoxaprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). The uptake system for 1H-pyrrol-2-ylacetic acid is present in mitochondria and in human liver cells. This compound can be activated by an inorganic base and dehydrogenated to form butyric acid. The uptake process of this substance has been experimentally demonstrated using phosphorus oxychloride as the solvent and a grignard reagent as the base. An acid catalyst was used to hydrolyze the ester group of 1H-pyrrol-2-ylacetic acid.
