Produktinformation
- 4-Pyridin-4-Yl-Phenylamine
4-(Pyridin-4-yl)aniline is a chemical compound that is used as an aminophenol. It has been shown to have antibacterial activity, catalytic activity, and cardiotonic effects. 4-(Pyridin-4-yl)aniline can be decarboxylated to form the corresponding acid or reacted with diazotization to form the corresponding diazo compound. The pyridine ring of 4-(pyridin-4-yl)aniline can be converted into a benzimidazole derivative by reaction with an appropriate reagent such as copper, benzoyl chloride, or piperidine. The resulting compound may then be reduced with a suitable reducing agent such as chloride or catalytic reduction to produce the corresponding amine. Finally, 3-nitrobenzaldehyde can be reacted with this amine in the presence of orthoesters to produce the desired product.
