Beschreibung

trans-4-Pentyl-(1,1-bicyclohexyl)-4-carboxylic acid is a liquid crystal compound. It has been found to be compatible with many other compounds, such as pyridine, dimethylaniline, cyclohexanecarboxylic acid and phenylene. The solubility of trans-4-pentyl-(1,1-bicyclohexyl)-4-carboxylic acid in ethanol is high. It can be used to lower the melting point of fluorophenyl and refluxed in order to produce a liquid crystal composition.
