Beschreibung

L-Proline Hydrochloride is an ester compound that is used in the synthesis of pharmaceutical preparations. It has been shown to be an effective antidiabetic agent, which may be due to its ability to inhibit insulin resistance and fatty acid synthesis. L-Proline Hydrochloride also has antioxidant properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit serine protease activity. This substance also has a phase transition temperature of about -17°C and can be used as a cryoprotectant in the manufacture of vaccines.
L-Proline hydrochloride is an essential amino acid that is synthesized from lysine and serine by means of a synthetic pathway involving 5-membered heteroaryl compounds such as pyrrole or furan.
