Beschreibung:
6-(1H-Pyrazol-1-yl)nicotinic acid is structurally efficient and can be synthesized by a hydrothermal method. It has been shown to catalyze the reaction of nicotinic acid with substrates in an acidic system. This synthesis required a catalyst, which was found to be a precatalyst. The precatalyst was not consumed in the reaction, but rather acted as an acid scavenger and prevented side reactions from occurring.
