Beschreibung

Phenol-d6 is a chemical compound that can be used for wastewater treatment. It is a high molecular weight compound that is soluble in water and does not dissolve in organic solvents. Phenol-d6 is used to remove chloride from wastewater, which results from the reaction of chlorine with organic compounds. The functional groups on phenol-d6 react with the chloride ions, forming insoluble hydrochloric acid, which precipitates from the solution.
