Beschreibung

O-(2,3,4,5,6-Pentafluorobenzyl)hydroxylamine hydrochloride is a toxic compound that is used in analytical chemistry. The detection of this substance can be done by using a GC-MS or LC-MS. It reacts with fatty acids to form aldehydes which are then detected through the use of an analytical method. This reaction can also be triggered by glyoxal and methyl ethyl ketone. Solid phase microextraction (SPME) is used to extract this compound from the air and wastewater treatment systems as it has been shown to be emitted during the preparation of sample solutions.
