Beschreibung

Polypropylene glycol monobutyl ether (PPGMBE) is a non-ionic surfactant that belongs to the group of polyols. It is a colorless liquid, with an average molecular weight of 1000. PPGMBE has been shown to be effective in inhibiting biological functions such as the production of nitric oxide and prostaglandin E2 by macrophages and lymphocytes. In addition, PPGMBE also inhibits viral replication and enhances the activity of pyrethrum extract against infectious diseases. PPGMBE is used in personal care products, detergents, textile processing, and solvent recovery.
