Beschreibung

Pregnenolone acetate is a substrate molecule in the synthesis of corticosteroids. It binds to receptors and has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against Streptococcus pyogenes, Escherichia coli, and Proteus mirabilis. Pregnenolone acetate has also been shown to stimulate locomotor activity and neuronal function in rats. This compound has also been found to be an effective treatment for cervical cancer, adrenocortical carcinoma, and metabolic disorders such as methyl ketones.
