Beschreibung:
2-Propoxybenzamide is a dihedral molecule with d2 receptor affinity and an acceptor site. It has been shown to have antidepressant-like activity in animal models. The orientation of the amide group and hydrogen bond between the amide group and x-radiation on the aminophenol moiety are thought to be important for this activity. 2-Propoxybenzamide has been patented as a novel compound for treating depression.
