Phenylhydrazine hydrochloride is a chemical reagent that is used in the production of dyes, pharmaceuticals, and other chemicals. It is also used as a fluorescent probe for DNA or RNA. Phenylhydrazine hydrochloride has been shown to have an optimum concentration of 5 mM in the reaction solution. The reaction mechanism of phenylhydrazine hydrochloride with nuclei has been studied using synchronous fluorescence and cell nuclei. Phenylhydrazine hydrochloride reacts with the sulfa drugs to form an adduct that can be detected by a chemiluminescent reaction. This product can be used as a model system for wastewater treatment because it removes pollutants such as organic matter, nitrogen, and phosphorus from wastewater. The energy metabolism of cells can be studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). EIS can be used to study polymerase chain reactions (PCR) because it measures the electrical resistance of cells during DNA synthesis
