Beschreibung

Phthalic anhydride is a chemical compound that is used as a catalyst in the production of sodium salts, such as sodium ethylate. It is also used to modify fatty acids, and is a component of many plastics. Phthalic anhydride is chemically stable and has been shown to have no adverse effects on antibody response or hydroxyl group levels. Phthalic anhydride also has high reactivity with glycol ethers, which can be used as an oxidation catalyst for reactions involving alcohols.
