Beschreibung

D-Proline methyl ester hydrochloride is a chiral Grignard reagent that is used to synthesize a variety of organic compounds. It has been shown to be useful in the synthesis of thionyl and ester hydrochlorides, which are important for the production of pharmaceuticals, plastics, agricultural chemicals, and other products. D-Proline methyl ester hydrochloride can also be used as a homochiral monomer in polymers. The use of this molecule in polymerization reactions is well suited because it increases the rate of copolymerization with other monomers such as chloride or fatty acid. This compound has been shown to have electropolymerization properties when coupled with ferrocene.
