2,6-Pyridinedicarboxylic acid monomethyl ester (2,6-PDA) is an organic compound that is used in analytical chemistry to introduce fatty acids into non-polar solvents. 2,6-PDA can be synthesized from the reaction of pyridine and acetic acid.
