Beschreibung

2-Phenyl-pyridin-4-ylamine is a reactive compound that can be used in the synthesis of polymeric matrices for drug delivery. It has been shown to have anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, and pain relief properties. 2-Phenyl-pyridin-4-ylamine is also able to inhibit the uptake of amines by lung fibroblasts. When hydrogen chloride was added to lung fibroblasts, it caused an increase in the uptake of amines. The hydrogen chloride may have reacted with 2-phenylpyridine ylide and caused a reaction product that inhibited amine uptake.
