Beschreibung

Perfluorotriamylamine (so called) is a perfluorinated compound that has thermal expansion properties. It is used in the production of polymer films, membranes and flow systems. This compound has shown to be effective against bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, but not against other types of organisms. The binding constants for this compound are high with hydroxyl groups and lipophilic solutes. It is also stable at low pH levels and in light exposure.
