Beschreibung

9-Phenylcarbazole-3-boronic Acid is a halide that can be used to detect traces of sulfur. It has been shown to react with sulfides to produce a fluorescent product. The reaction time for this reaction is relatively short and the detection limits are low. 9-Phenylcarbazole-3-boronic Acid can also be used in optical devices, such as lasers or light emitting diodes (LEDs), for photovoltaic cells, and as an intermediate in chemical reactions involving cross coupling.
