Beschreibung

Pentafluorophenyl isothiocyanate (PFITC) is a fluorescent dye that can be used to measure protein synthesis and to study the effects of autoimmune diseases on blood cells. PFITC binds to proteins in the cell membrane, which alters the electrical potential across the membrane, leading to changes in voltage-dependent ion channels.
