Catacxium Pd G4 is a halide with the chemical formula HX. It is a cross-coupling reaction that can be used to form C-C, C-N, and C-O bonds. Catacxium Pd G4 has been shown to have significant antidiabetic activity in animal models of type 2 diabetes, as well as anti-inflammatory properties. Catacxium Pd G4 has shown anticancer activity in preclinical studies. This compound also has an ability to inhibit the adenosine receptor, which may make it useful for treating inflammatory diseases such as arthritis. Catacxium Pd G4 is synthesized by reacting aryl halides with triazole and then reducing them with sodium borohydride or sodium cyanoborohydride.
