Beschreibung

Glycocholic acid, sodium salt hydrate is a bile acid that inhibits the action of cholesterol esterase to promote the synthesis of cholesterol in humans. It can also be used as a pharmaceutical formulation for the treatment of chronic kidney and cardiac diseases. Glycocholic acid, sodium salt hydrate has been shown to decrease the progression of peroxide-induced oxidative stress in mice. This drug has been shown to have a protective effect on the heart, which may be due to its ability to inhibit arrhythmia and reduce the incidence of sudden death from heart attack.
