Beschreibung

Songorine is a natural product that belongs to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by binding to cyclooxygenase, which is an enzyme that metabolizes arachidonic acid into prostaglandins. Songorine has been shown to have inhibitory properties against bone cancer and radix notoginseng in low-dose groups. Songorine also has structural similarities to matrix metalloproteinases and response elements, which are proteins that regulate inflammation and cell proliferation.
