Beschreibung

Stanozolol is a synthetic anabolic steroid that is used in medicine to treat conditions such as anemia, hereditary angioedema, and certain types of breast cancer. It has been shown to significantly up-regulate the production of erythropoietin in the liver and kidneys. Stanozolol has also been shown to inhibit the production of matrix metalloproteinases, which are enzymes that are involved in tissue destruction. The drug also has a cardioprotective effect, and may be useful for treating myocardial infarct or other heart diseases. Stanozolol is administered by mouth and can be detected in urine samples using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
