Sodium octenylsuccinate starch is a particle that consists of glycerides and starch. It is mainly used as a dietary supplement and has been shown to have surface methodology properties. Sodium octenylsuccinate starch can be activated by dry weight, viscosity, encapsulation, carotenoid, cinnamon oil, physiological activities, average particle diameter and fatty acids. The particles are microcapsules that are prepared with the use of an organic solvent such as acetone or petroleum ether. The process is completed using the addition of polymers such as polyvinylpyrrolidone or polyethylene glycol.
