Beschreibung

This method is an efficient synthetic process for the preparation of 5-(2-sulfanylidene-3H-1,3-thiazol-4-yl)thiophene-2-carboxamide. The synthesis is carried out in three steps: (1) the condensation of 2-aminothiophenol with ethanethiol and hydrochloric acid, (2) the formation of a salt from this reaction mixture with methanol and hydrochloric acid, and (3) the esterification of this salt with chloropropane. This method simplifies the synthesis by using a single reagent, chloropropane.
