• Beschreibung: Sildenafil is an inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE-5). It is used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Sildenafil inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase type-5, which prevents the conversion of cyclic guanosine monophosphate to cyclic adenosine monophosphate, and this results in relaxation of smooth muscle cells and increased blood flow to the corpus cavernosum.
