Beschreibung

Stellasterol is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of terpenes. It is found in the genus Ganoderma, which contains at least 17 different species. Stellasterol has been shown to have anti-cancer properties and can inhibit the growth of cancer cells. The hypoglycemic effect of stellasterol may be due to its ability to inhibit cholesterol ester transfer and cholesterol synthesis.
