It is used in the textile industry as an extracellular dye and can be used for the production of polyols, uv irradiation, corrosion inhibitor, high concentrations, condensation products, high resistance, organic solvent, volatile oil, substrate film and polymerization initiator. The dye also exhibits affinity ligand properties which are used in microcapsules to bind to substances such as proteins or nucleic acids.
