• Beschreibung: Sodium lauroyl glutamate is a dodecyl, neutralizing, exponentially wormlike cationic surfactant. Sodium lauroyl glutamate is a surface active agent that is added to water to produce micelles in order to provide wetting and emulsification. It can also be used as a phase transition temperature reducer or viscosity modifier. Sodium lauroyl glutamate has been shown to increase the solubility of amides and cosurfactants, which may be due to its ability to form hydrogen bonds with hydroxyl ions and chloride. Sodium lauroyl glutamate has a phase transition temperature of 78°C and will react with potassium phosphate.
