Sulfur trioxide triethylamine complex has also been shown to be an effective inhibitor of pyrazoles and chromatographic analysis at nmr spectra. It has been found to act as a substrate for hydroxyl group, fetal bovine serum, and metabolic disorders in urine samples. Disulfate is a byproduct of this reaction.
