Beschreibung

Sodium hydrogen sulfate is a white or colorless crystalline solid with a high melting point and low solubility in water. It is used as a laxative, to increase the concentration of substances in blood, as an electrolyte replenisher, and as a reagent for analytical chemistry. Sodium hydrogen sulfate has been shown to be effective in the treatment of bowel disease and has anti-inflammatory properties. This compound also inhibits the activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α and IL-1β by blocking their interaction with their receptors. The effects of sodium hydrogen sulfate are reversible, which makes it safer than other drugs that have long-term toxicity.
