N,N,N',N'-Tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine is a chemical compound that has been found to have a high affinity for proteins and nucleic acids. N,N,N',N'-Tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine reacts with surfactant sodium dodecyl (SDA) to produce protonated SDA species.
