Beschreibung:4-[(2R)-2-[(1R)-2,2,2-Trifluoro-1-hydroxyethyl]-1-pyrrolidinyl]-2-(trifluoromethyl)benzonitrile is a potent estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that binds to the estrogen receptor with high affinity. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. The binding of 4-[(2R)-2-[(1R)-2,2,2-Trifluoro-1-hydroxyethyl]-1-pyrrolidinyl]-2-(trifluoromethyl)benzonitrile to the estrogen receptor is competitive and it can be displaced by estradiol. The drug has a long detection time in urine samples due to its stability and low molecular weight.
