Beschreibung

Triethylene glycol di(p-toluenesulfonate) (TEGDPS) is an anticancer agent that is a prodrug. It has been shown to have specific treatment effects on sequences and stable complexes of the nucleic acid. TEGDPS has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth by inhibiting mitochondrial-dependent apoptosis in vitro and in vivo. This drug also has the ability to form coordination complexes with sodium salts, which may be responsible for its anticancer properties.
